Compensation and benefits procedure
Sandvik's reward philosophy is aligned with local market practices, e.g., remuneration is to be competitive and reflect responsibility and employee performance. Total reward may be offered in the form of a base salary or a combination of base salary and variable components, depending on position and local market. The objective is to have an appropriate balance between these elements observing the local market and maintaining internal equity. Each Sandvik employee shall be offered a fair and equitable remuneration package, reflecting employee’s performance. Pay for Performance shall also consider how the performance objectives were achieved by the employee, in alignment with Sandvik Core Values and Code of Conduct. Sandvik´s Total Reward Strategy encompasses not only base salary but also pension, benefits and career development.
