Currently, we have an opening for a Business Controller for our Parts & Services Division. Reporting into the Manager of Business Control, you will oversee financial planning and analysis, contribute to strategic decisions, ensure accurate business reporting, and drive performance management. You will be expected to develop KPIs, optimize business processes through collaboration with key stakeholders, and support ERP implementation in the upcoming years. This role requires a proactive, analytical mindset and strong teamwork skills to enhance overall business performance.

What you will be doing
Spearhead the quarterly forecasting process for Parts & Services division for Sandvik Canada, working with the sales team in identifying topline development opportunities for the next 5 quarters.
Analyze monthly performance against set targets and latest forecast, and highlight deviation to the local management team.
In conjunction with the greater Business Control team, contribute to the development of operational and financial strategies within the sales area.
Develop tools/systems that lead to increase in timeliness and accuracy of information being reported to key stakeholders within the business.
Facilitate, execute, and update our Risk & Control Matrix, including quarterly testing of controls and identification of areas for improvement, ensuring the control descriptions are up to date.
Drive accountability and education of the Risk & Control Matrix to ensure it is well integrated into our business.
Develop relevant KPIs, reporting, monthly commentary on results, guidelines and training for increased understanding and awareness of the business performance.
Work closely with the stakeholders within Parts & Services division to ensure operational objectives (topline, profitability and NWC) are being met, and team up with various departments and individuals to optimize our processes and ways of working.
Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required, and provide analysis, support, and testing with upcoming ERP implementation (SAP).

What you will bring along
Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance), Mathematics, or Sciences.
Active CPA designation (or near completion).
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA is considered an asset.
Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is considered an asset.
Proven capability of advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills, and FP&A platforms such as Workday Adaptive Insights.
Proven ability to perform complex financial/operational data analyses.
Proven ability to lead, influence, and work with others.
Proven ability to juggle many complex, competing deliverables all with tight deadlines.
Proven ability to act and think strategically; commercially astute.
Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate at a senior level and across business units.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively present ideas across all organizational levels.
Proven problem-solving skills, including quantitative, conceptual, and analytical capabilities.
A flexible, energetic, and self-motivated mindset, showcasing a genuine eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
