About the Role

As a business analyst, you will be based at either our Heatherbrae, NSW, Kewdale, WA, OR Narangba QLD, branch, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed analyses of production performance, efficiency reports, financial modelling, cost benefit analyses.
Running a dedicated reporting system (Power BI) for business performance reporting.

Reviewing financial data to develop reports, analyses and recommendations for Executive, Senior Managers, sales department and operations.
Supporting the CFO with special inquiries and projects.
Developing metrics, performance reporting and visualisations to measure Sandvik Ground Support’s performance.
Champion the integration of improvements to Sandvik’s core analytical tools.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a similar role within a complex and challenging environment.
High level of computer literacy with a sound knowledge of relevant software programs including Power BI.
Strong analytical skills and experience in Business Intelligence and analytics with the ability to combined the data from multiple sources.
Experience in a manufacturing or mining-centric organisation is advantageous.
