Software Developer

At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, we deliver pioneering products and solutions to our global customers within the mining and construction segment. We are now recruiting for a proactive and customer-focused Software Developer, (.Net). This is an individual contributor role to be based in Pune office.

JOB PURPOSE

Part of the .Net application development team for development of service (SQL, .net, API) applications, web applications (MVC, .NET), reports tools (SSRS/PowerBI etc.) with support from Lead developer &/or Manager.

Implementing/supporting Third party solutions.

Incident Management and problem management of all application's developed by IT development Team

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Complies with safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements
Development of tasks assigned by Lead Developer/Manager as per agreed timeline
Keep Technical documentation updated for enhancement and create technical documentation for new development's.
Follow development guidelines and processes as directed by Lead Developer/Manager.
Ensure Incident Management as per SLA as per ticketing system in Service now.
Validate requirement scope document and ensure scope of work is agreed with Business Support and business user.
Follow Project Monitoring System (PMS) for work assignments and time reporting
Technology adaption: Adapt new technologies
Software implementation and support: Responsible for implementation of 3rd part solutions

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, we see that you have:

MCA , MSc or BTech CS/IT with 3-5 years of experience in any Multinational company in the same field
MCSD - Microsoft Certified Software Development Professional desirable
Development Knowledge of C# on a scale of 4 on 5
Development, deployment and support of ASP.Net application on a scale 4 on 5
Advanced Knowledge of SQL , Stored Procedures , Triggers , database concepts etc on a scale 4 on 5
Good Communication Skills especially in English , on a scale of 3 on 5
MVC >= 3.0 development expertise on a scale of 4 on 5
Development knowledge of Vb.Net on a scale of 2 on 5
Development knowledge in Power Bi / Power Apps / Power Automate on a scale of 3 on 5
