About the Role
As a business analyst, you will be based at either our Heatherbrae, NSW, Kewdale, WA, OR Narangba QLD, branch, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed analyses of production performance, efficiency reports, financial modelling, cost benefit analyses.
- Running a dedicated reporting system (Power BI) for business performance reporting.
- Reviewing financial data to develop reports, analyses and recommendations for Executive, Senior Managers, sales department and operations.
- Supporting the CFO with special inquiries and projects.
- Developing metrics, performance reporting and visualisations to measure Sandvik Ground Support’s performance.
- Champion the integration of improvements to Sandvik’s core analytical tools.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a complex and challenging environment.
- High level of computer literacy with a sound knowledge of relevant software programs including Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in Business Intelligence and analytics with the ability to combined the data from multiple sources.
- Experience in a manufacturing or mining-centric organisation is advantageous.
