We are now looking for a Sales Manager – Construction to join our sales team. This position reports to Zonal Sales Manager & posting can be Flexible within Hyderabad & Bangalore.
Job summary
As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing Crushing and Screening Business and implementing new strategies within your designated area by maintaining an active presence with the Construction customers in the market.
Key performance areas
- Complies with Sandvik safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Meeting regular sales targets
- Recording and maintaining client contact data through customer relationship management
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Co-ordinating internally with stake holders like projects, factory and service function.
- Closely follow the implementation and execution of the sales and marketing activities outlined in the business plans.
- Providing input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of the product line for customers,
- Responsible for direct and indirect sales (Channel partner) to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment performance over its lifetime
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Corporate Client Strategic Sales.
- Proficient in Value Sales
- Coordinate with Service and Spares teams for effective support to customer

- Building relations and learning the Sandvik C&S organization, Sandvik business and the Sandvik way of working.
- Hard working, well organized and able to manage numerous tasks simultaneously under deadline pressure.
- You possess excellent communication and effective leadership skills, be a results-driven individual and capable of meeting challenging timescales whilst striving to achieve remarkable improvements.
- Fluency in English and willingness to travel are required to be successful in this role.
Your profile
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline. Minimum of Diploma in Engineering is mandatory
- 5 - 10 years of experience in any similar application. Experience in Sales, Application & Services knowledge of Crusher would be most desirable
- Exposure to the mining, construction or engineering industries will be an added advantage
- Strategic planning and operations experience
- Must be a good communicator both speaking and writing skills and pleasing personality and good MS Office Knowledge
