About your job

In this role, you lead and coordinate the automation development for all products within Network Services. You analyze and propose automation use cases in existing solution architecture and investigate emerging technologies and assess their viability for machine learning, AI and automation. Aligned with the technology director for our Product Area, you develop and anchor a technology roadmap for machine learning and automation.

In collaboration with all product teams, you create feasible automations that meet business needs and expectations, and you continuously interact with stakeholders to understand their needs and contexts. All in all, your mission is to evaluate our possibilities for automation in existing services and products as well as driving the new way of working to increase automation in our services.

The location for this position is at Gasverket in Stockholm or Sandbacka Park in Sandviken and we offer a hybrid work solution.

About you

We’re looking for someone with knowledge of network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN and Zero Trust technologies. You have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM/Bicep, along with an understanding of RESTful APIs and API development. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash is mandatory, as are familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

To be successful in this position you also have:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

  • A background working with automation and network.

  • A relevant university degree in IT or equivalent experience gained from work.

  • Excellent English skills, verbally and in writing, while knowledge in Swedish is a plus.

With your effective communication skills, you easily transmit complex technical concepts to a non-IT-technical audience. You’re business oriented and have an analytical mindset, tools that help you create an overall view and at the same time spot the important details. Being a true team player you’re a firm believer of sharing best practices.
