Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate process engineering to ensure the development of the tool production process structure; monitor the implementation of the studies carried out by the team;
  • Analyze, together with the process engineering team, continuous improvements in production processes in order to reduce process time and costs, carrying out Time and Method analysis in the processes;
  • Manage and coordinate, together with the product development engineering team, the new tool lines that will be developed in order to meet the schedule established with the Product Manager;
  • Perform feasibility analyses for the manufacture of new tools in conjunction with the planning process in order to ensure the capacity to meet the requested demand;
  • Perform analysis and changes to the factory layout for the receipt, transfer and/or implementation of new products in order to adapt the plant as needed;
  • Manage machine capability analyses by coordinating the work performed by the team in order to prepare control plans for the tools produced;
  • Manage the maintenance team in order to ensure that the machines operate according to the established priority and guarantee the adequate conditions of the building infrastructure, controlling the Machine Availability KPIs;
  • Manage and control the investment plan with a view to planning the acquisition of new equipment according to the needs of the areas;
  • Comply with Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection (EHS) standards and procedures defined by law and formalized by Sandvik locally and globally, seeking to mitigate the risk of accidents and incidents as well as ensuring the integrity of the material, human and environmental assets under the organization's responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • Experience in the field of Engineering;
  • Experience in Maintenance;
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14000;
  • Fluent English;
  • Knowledge of AutoCad;
  • Knowledge of MS Project.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Management System Tools (Quality, Environment, Safety);
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Postgraduate/MBA in Business Administration;
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing.

Location: Brazil - Interlagos, São Paulo.
