HR Generalist - P2
Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a global leading supplier in equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and infrastructure industries. Applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying. The focus lies on bringing value to customers through high-performing products that increase productivity and safety as well as to provide services and flexible maintenance programs that extend uptime and cut costs.
The Role
To provide expert frontline Human Resource operational support to ultimately offer comprehensive and value-adding advice, support and solutions to Ngezi.
Key responsibilities:
Manage/administer/ implement and or drive the organization’s compensation and benefit, employee engagement, recruitment, training, organizational development, performance management and employee relations programs.
HR Program advocacy, communicating the business values of HR initiatives and managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption.
Partnering with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, high potential employee development, succession planning etc.).
Profile required:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in HR Generalist roles
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) is advantageous
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
