INROCK is one of the world’s largest tooling and service providers serving the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry. We provide tools and services to HDD contractors globally to help them install infrastructure pipelines transporting water, sewer, oil, gas, electric, and fiber underneath geological and man-made obstacles.

About the job

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for aspects of shipping at INROCK. The position will work with multiple departments including Operations, Sales, and Manufacturing as well as vendors to ensure shipments are received and delivered.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Arrange for the most cost-efficient means of moving product to its destination while meeting customer deadlines
  • Coordinate shipping with various transportation providers including sea freight, LTL, hot shot, standard motor freight, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, USPS, etc.
  • Utilize in-house software to receive PO's and to process sales orders
  • Prepare bills of lading and shipping documents for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Maintain overall shipping and receiving schedule for the company
  • Track all shipments and be able to report on status of shipments as required
  • Follow up on any shipping problems or issues
  • Communicate with Sales, Operations and vendors to assure our ability to deliver on time
  • On Call

Experience/Skills

  • At least 3 years of general logistics experience preferred
  • Proficient use and understanding of Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive are required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Applicant must be conversant in all forms of logistics - sea freight, LTL, hot shot, standard motor freight, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, USPS, etc.
  • International shipping experience is a plus (NAFTA tariff codes, SLI, SED, etc.)
