SigmaNEST is looking for a Vice President, Global Sales.

This position is available in Germany, Italy, Sweden, United Kingdom, or the United States. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in at least one of these countries. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Job Summary

The Global Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s global sales strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets. This individual will lead a high-performing sales team, build scalable sales processes, and cultivate a customer-centric sales culture. You will be a critical part of the company’s leadership team and play a key role in shaping the company's go-to-market approach, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy, and driving long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, define target industries, and establish strategies for market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales efforts with marketing, product, and customer success initiatives.

Team Management and Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sales team, including regional sales leaders and account executives.
  • Foster a results-driven culture by setting clear performance metrics and accountability standards.
  • Invest in training and professional development to ensure continuous improvement in skills and effectiveness.

Revenue Growth and Forecasting

  • Own global revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Optimize the sales funnel, from lead generation to closing, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Customer and Market Focus

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a key representative of the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.

Operational Excellence

  • Design and implement scalable sales processes, tools, and technologies to support growth.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards across all sales activities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and leverage modern selling tools to complement a digital and face to face selling organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of proven success in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing global teams in the software industry.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets, expand into new markets, and scale sales organizations.
  • Strategic Vision: Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, including channel sales, direct sales, and partnerships.
  • Leadership: Exceptional team-building and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage geographically dispersed teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making capability with expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Tools: Familiarity with sales tools a major plus; Salesforce, GONG, Apollo
  • Communication: Fluent proficiency in English with advanced skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, tailored to effectively interact with diverse international stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred but not required.

Travel

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally
