Global Digital Services Support Manager

We are now looking for a Global Digital Services Support Manager to support growing demand for remote monitoring and analytics. Location of this role is flexible.
Your responsibilities
Global Digital Services Support Manager will oversee the Sandvik Digital Service offering and solution implementation globally. You will be leading a team of digital service specialists to deliver value to Sandvik customer connected fleet. You will gather business requirements from sales areas and customers to create technical and commercial concepts to fulfill the business needs. You and your team will participate on development of new algorithms, AI-solution, various software and connectivity methods to drive value to mining operations globally. Global Digital Services Support Manager will participate to commercial business model development and will be in close contact with various stakeholders including but not limited to global R&D, Service operations and sales.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a cross-functional team of specialists reporting directly to you. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members. Prioritize all product backlog items to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by translating complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks. Ensure that technological advancements are leveraged to meet commercial objectives and drive profitability.
- Establish feedback loops to continuously improve the products, services and processes. Manage budget responsibility for your area.
- Participate and manage high-impact projects from inception through to execution, working closely with stakeholders across departments.
- Act as a role model and inspire both your team and the broader organization. Champion a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Communicate the domain vision and progress effectively to all levels of the company. Be a part of the Digital Services Leadership Team.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for digital services and remote monitoring. You should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- A curious and innovative mindset, eager to explore and develop new ideas into solutions in collaboration with customers and global teams.
- 5+ years of management experience leading specialist teams.
- Preferably experience on customer facing sales of digital solution +2 years
- Expertise in telemetry-based condition monitoring systems and a strong understanding of network communications.
- Experience in equipment reliability data analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Background in software development, particularly in a Product Manager or Product Owner role.
- Strong understanding of mining operations and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as required.
