Nina Åxman awarded Female Leader of the Future 2020

Since January this year, Nina Åxman is Vice President and Head of Global Operations at Sandvik Rock Tools and she came from a position as factory manager at Bombardier in Västerås. In fierce competition with other talented young female leaders she was named the Female Leader of the Future in 2020, on May 12.

”Pathos, genuine, authentic ... The list of leadership's most important adjectives never ends when Nina Åxman is to be described. It is clear that she creates the trust of her employees and brings everyone on the change journey. It is a good quality when she has to lead 1,300 employees spread out in nine countries and in six factories and it places her as number one among the Female Leaders of the Future in 2020 ”, says the jury's motivation.

Nina Åxman sees the award as both honorable and surprising.

“It is a great honor for me personally, but also a great joy for my colleagues and teams at Bombardier and Sandvik for what we have achieved,” she comments.
