Sandvik is one of the companies and organizations impacted by the global IT virus attack which affected both the office and production environment. Since it occurred on the afternoon of Friday 12 May, focus has been on mapping the impact and executing recovering measures. The situation is continuously being monitored. Assuming the situation does not deteriorate from here, Sandvik expects to deliver on customer commitments as planned and no major financial impact is currently expected.
