Sandvik continues to be a member of the FTSE4 Good Index
Once again, Sandvik has met all criteria to be a member of the prestigious FTSE4 Good Index Series. This shows that our dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility work delivers results.
What is FTSE4 Good Index?
FTSE is an independent company owned by London Stock Exchange Group. FTSE4 comprises a series of ethical investment stock market indices that investors can use as a tool to identify companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards.
The inclusion criteria include:
• Environmental impact
• Social & stakeholder relationships
• Human rights
• Supply chain labor standards
• Countering bribery
Constantly evolving requirements
The criteria are revised semiannually to ensure they reflect the development in the area of CSR. What may have qualified a company to be a member last year may no longer be valid the following year; forcing companies to stay current with the standards.
Being recognized as a member of the FTSE4Good Index Series further illustrates Sandvik's transparent and holistic approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and how we are aiming to make CSR an integrated component of our business model.
