Björn Jonson, Vice President Group Staff Information (KI) at Sandvik, has requested reduced working hours as of 1 February 2001.

As of this date, certain changes will become effective within the Group's information and advertising activities.

Corporate advertising activities (production of advertisements, printed matters, films, identity matters etc.) will be managed by a newly formed Group Staff unit, Advertising and Identity (KB), headed by Björn Jonson.

"AlttextHeléne Gunnarsson.The Investor Relations unit (KKM) is being integrated with information operations within Group Staff Information. Heléne Gunnarson, current head of Investor Relations, is being appointed head of the staff unit and a vice president of the company. The new combined operations will be named Group Communications (KI).
