Global parental leave

We believe that work-life balance matters and that having time to bond with your baby is important. That’s why we offer global parental leave. This benefit provides 14 weeks of paid leave with 90 percent of the base salary to all employees in countries where no equivalent or better benefit already exits.

The global parental leave is available for part-time and full-time employees who have completed one year of service. Adoption and surrogacy are of course covered too.

The country-by-country gradual implementation is expected to be completed by end of June 2025. With this new benefit we are establishing a common minimum baseline for all our employees globally.

Our optional gender-neutral global parental leave is aligned with our strategic diversity, equity and inclusion ambitions. We also believe that supporting our employees and their families during the baby’s first year can have a positive impact on employee health and well-being – and drive engagement.

Simply put, time spent on baby bonding is precious – so we’re making it a benefit for all our employees.
