Warehouse Supervisor – Kenwick, WA
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detailed-orientated Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy team at our Kenwick Warehouse.
As the Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee daily warehouse activities involved with the supply of spare parts and materials from the warehouse to the customer. There will be a key focus on people management, forward planning, costs and KPI’s. The role has a strong focus on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and compliance with chain of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate stock movements and liaise between all Sandvik Mining & Construction and supplier warehouses.
Issuing stock to work orders and maintaining stock to the optimum level.
Carry out regular audits to ascertain stock levels.
Assist in producing monthly data as requested.
Purchasing, receiving and dispatching parts, orders and enquiries.
Work closely with Leading Hands to plan day to day running of the warehouse.
Assist in ongoing in-house training for team members.
General warehouse maintenance.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role, possessing strong leadership and team management skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities, along with proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse technology. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
