About your role
As Market Manager - Sales, North America, you will lead the regional sales organization into its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will:
Develop and execute long-term, results-oriented sales strategies aligned with North American market dynamics and corporate vision.
Set and cascade ambitious sales goals related to value, volume, profitability, and customer experience.
Provide executive-level leadership across First Line Sales Managers and regional teams to foster high performance and operational excellence.
Regularly review and adapt sales strategies, forecasts, and budgets to drive continuous improvement.
Lead strategic relationships with major customers and partners, delivering tailored solutions and lasting value.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to integrate commercial and technical strategies.
Serve as Acting Managing Director (MD) for specific legal entities when applicable, ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.
Represent North America at global leadership forums, contributing to broader corporate strategy.
This role offers high visibility across the organization, with the autonomy to make region-wide decisions and directly influence Seco’s success in North America.
Leadership responsibilities
Inspire, coach, and develop experienced leaders across diverse sales teams.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Empower team members to take ownership of performance and customer relationships.
Maintain strong financial discipline and drive continuous optimization of sales processes.
Champion succession planning and build a strong bench of future sales leaders.
You bring the following skills, personal traits, and interests:
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5-10+ years of experience in senior sales or sales management, with a proven record of strategy execution.
Experience leading large, complex sales organizations across regional or national markets.
Deep understanding of North American market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior.
Strong background in CRM systems, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
A strategic, customer-centric mindset with the ability to influence, engage, and lead across functions.
Excellent communication, executive presence, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for meetings, training, and leadership engagements.
