About this opportunity
We are seeking a Global Key Customer Account Manager, based in Canada, who will report to the VP Global Accounts, located in France. This role is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth, leading the value-selling team effort, and delivering exceptional customer service.
As the Global Key Customer Account Manager, you will be the customer expert, deeply embedded in their organization, understanding their needs, and contributing to their success with Sandvik's support. You will assess Sandvik's position with the customer, identify opportunities, and develop a winning strategy and action plan for the account teams to proactively offer valuable solutions.
In this role, you will act as an ambassador of Sandvik, ensuring quality communication, managing and building customer relationships, engaging the internal Sandvik network, and fostering mutually beneficial business partnerships.
Frequent international travel will be required to engage with both local account teams and key customer contacts across multiple countries and continents.
While this is a full-time position based in Canada, Sandvik recognizes the importance of flexible working options.
Areas of responsibility
- Develop and manage a detailed plan engaging with internal stakeholders to drive future business growth and co-create long-term value within the relationship.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective engagement across all levels to ensure that identified value is captured.
- Ensure customer stakeholders understand the value delivered by Sandvik's offerings and how it applies to their specific needs.
- Monitor performance against plan expectations and take decisive action to adjust as necessary.
Your profile
As an experienced business professional, you thrive in a globally dispersed team and stakeholder environment. You possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, constantly seeking innovative approaches to grow business and increase market share. Your track record includes successfully leading and developing teams to execute effective account management strategies.
With exceptional communication skills and a multicultural understanding, you excel in fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Your initiative, drive, and determination to set targets, achieve goals, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction are key factors in the selection process. You can thrive in a matrix organization and are willing to travel as required.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential due to our international setting.
