Sales and Application Engineer

This is a permanent full-time position primarily responsible for attracting sales of Capital equipment for a globally renowned OEM.

Specifically, you will :

Be Responsible for equipment selection in-line with customer specifications (predominantly Screens, Feeders and TLO systems).
Be Responsible for the timely preparation of technical and commercial documentation for all RFQs. (including Tenders).
Manage all aspects of the sales process, from customer liaison to Project delivery.
Input sales information into Sandvik’s CRM System (Salesforce)
Travel remotely throughout Australia (as required), supporting the sales process, providing technical support, and building strong client relationships.
Provide customer feedback to contribute to the sales forecast as required by the business
Be capable of interpreting detailed technical documents
Cultivate multiple client relationships
Endevour to meet sales goals.

To be successful in the above duties, You will have:

A technical background preferably with Process engineering/ Metallurgy tertiary qualifications.
Proven experience with fixed plant process equipment (preferably screens)
Familiarity with a technical sales environment, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
Well-developed communication skills with a proven ability in building customer relationships.
A confident demeanour, while being a self-motivated team player, capable of working autonomously..
