Account Manager

Are you passionate about driving sales by building strong customer relationships, and do you thrive in a dynamic, global environment? At Sandvik Coromant, we’re looking for a talented individual to join our team as Account Manager for our customers in Jutland, Denmark.

Your mission

In this role, your goal is to provide the ultimate customer experience while executing our Front Line Sales strategy. You're responsible for retaining and growing the market share of our core customers and actively searching for new opportunities.

You ensure an appropriate development strategy for your customer portfolio, develop strategies to address customer needs, and achieve business and financial outcomes. This also includes maintaining and developing customer relationships and coordinating specialist support. You regularly review results and develop corrective actions, maintain market shares, and hunt for new opportunities. Providing accurate market information and supporting Sales Management with forecasts, budgets, and targets is also part of your role.

You engage internal teams to offer total solutions, secure project work, and gain a thorough understanding of customer business. You ensure pre-meeting plans, execute pricing strategies, and serve as a liaison between customers and company departments. Promoting the competitive advantage of Sandvik Coromant products and maintaining customer commitments for long-term partnerships are key responsibilities. All activities are executed according to the Quality Management System and Sales & Marketing Playbook.

The location for this role is flexible within the middle and northern part of Jutland, Denmark, and you’re based at your home office.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with a background of proactively driving sales and business activities, managing customer requests, and leveraging resources within the metal cutting industry. Building customer relationships and understanding their needs is crucial, and financial literacy is important for performing calculations, analyzing KPI’s and analyzing customer data. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential, along with project management and the ability to adapt to change.

Requirements include a relevant degree such as mechanical or manufacturing engineering, economics, and several years of experience in sales and account management in the metal cutting industry. A proven track record in driving business results and negotiations is needed, as well as a valid driver's license.
