Inside Sales Professional

Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions in Cleveland, OH is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing dealer sales business in the designated North American territory. Your primary duties will include generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales, all from within an office environment. You will work closely with potential and existing customers through phone, email, and other communication platforms to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

  • Sales & Business Development: Achieve sales objectives for hydraulic equipment (both equipment and aftermarket) for assigned dealers within the designated territory.

  • Dealer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing dealers and assist in developing new dealer networks in their respective areas by understanding dealer needs and offering tailored solutions.

  • Account Management: Promote proactive account management through regular rotational calls to dealers, driving business growth and addressing opportunities.

  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain and use CRM systems and other reporting tools to track performance and manage business activities effectively.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity within accounts and share relevant insights with internal teams to inform strategies.

  • Collaboration & Commercial Strategy: Actively engage in the commercial community to ensure North American business objectives are met and contribute to the development of regional commercial plans.

  • Sales Support: Provide assistance in internal sales support and collaborate with the outside sales team and marketing department to address customer needs.

  • Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service by providing ongoing support to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.

  • Product Expertise: Possess comprehensive product knowledge and a thorough understanding of the client’s business to recommend and introduce new products and services that align with their needs.

  • Joint Development Initiatives: Drive joint development initiatives with dealers, including new products, services, digital solutions, and commercial or operational agreements.

  • Order Processing & Delivery: Collaborate with internal operations teams to manage order processing and communicate delivery timelines to dealers.

Required Qualifications

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency (both written and verbal) in English.

  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities, demonstrating a strong sales acumen.

  • Learning Agility: Ability to quickly absorb product knowledge, industry practices, and tools necessary to provide excellent service and support to customers.

  • Team Collaboration: Skilled at working within a team to set objectives, develop agendas, and gain commitment to achieving those objectives.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical understanding to support customers and provide expert guidance on products and solutions.

  • IT Proficiency: Basic proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems, and other tools necessary to manage business performance.

  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of the factors that drive success both for customers and the business.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of5 years of experience in sales, service, key account management, or a related field, with a focus on industrial goods.

  • Proven track record in driving growth, efficiency, and innovation through client partnerships.

  • Experience delivering comprehensive solutions to clients, including products, services, and digital offerings.

EDUCATION

  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • This position requires frequent travel across North America.

  • The role requires daily reporting to the SRP, NA Cleveland, OH office, unless travel schedules prevent this.
