The role
We are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitters to join our Field Service team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be performing inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment. Including but not limited to;
- Surface Drills (Boom and Rotary)
- Rock Drill Audits & Reporting
- Underground Trucks
- Underground Loaders
- Underground Development and Production Drills
- Hydraulic repair and troubleshooting
- Electrical repair and troubleshooting
- OEM Training and support
The role will work on a 7/7 roster where you will be travelling to different customer sites across NSW, Victoria & South Australia
Areas of responsibility
- Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair mining equipment
- Identify faults in the electrical and mechanical configuration of various mobile systems
- Maintain inspection test reports and documentation
- Support technicians from other regions and assist in training
- Adhere to all policies & procedures especially the EHS policies
- Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously
- Assist with machine audits/inspections
Your Profile
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Experience maintaining surface drilling (boom and rotary) and underground drilling/Load and Haul
- Valid Driver’s License (compulsory)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexible to work with customer requirements, procedures, and safety policies
- Positive attitude and a high level of determination to achieve targets set for customer satisfaction
