About your job
In this position, you’re part of a small, yet global, team of product specialists in different given areas. Planning, executing and communicating innovative ideas and improvements are also important parts of your job – handling deadlines, budget and quality assurance to ensure that the project meets the demands and results of the organization. On top of this, you support our manufacturing and business in questions and issues regarding our existing technologies. This includes identifying and addressing product performance and quality related issues, collaborating with the manufacturing department and participating in manufacturing development projects. Additionally, you support sales by providing technical advice on product selection and customizing designs.

The location for this position is at our site in Sandviken, Sweden and we offer a hybrid work set-up with a mix of office and remote work. Some international travel is included in the job.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree in mechanical engineering, in addition to a few years of relevant work experience in product development, manufacturing and application area. You have good knowledge in design engineering fundamentals, as well as material and manufacturing processes where you’ve been involved in making drill string tool products. You’re skilled in CAD and comfortable working with Siemens NX and Team Center. Familiarity with simulation analysis and project management is beneficial. Since we operate in a global environment, you need excellent communication skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish or other languages is advantageous.

Your personality is very important to us! You have proven skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytics, and your can-do attitude allows you to adapt to changing environments. You excel at independently driving improvements and you thrive when you’re involved in several cross-functional projects. Being tech-savvy with a passion for innovation, you identify new and efficient solutions that bring us a competitive advantage in the market. Collaboration with both your internal community and our global network of customers and partners is key in this position, hence your team spirit, stakeholder management experience and communicative skills come in handy. You gladly share your knowledge and influence others to share best practices, using your open mind and curiosity to learn and develop – pushing us to act outside the box!
