Quality Engineer

Are you a problem solver with development mindset? We are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Production team in Lahti, Finland (on site) in Sandvik’s Attachment Tools Division. We at Attachment Tools Division design, develop and manufacture hydraulic hammers. Our strength is to deliver best-in-class solutions with superior aftermarket support that meet and exceed customer productivity needs in infrastructure, demolition, recycling, and mining industries. At our Lahti site we engineer and manufacture industry leading hydraulic hammers and other hydraulic attachments for maximum productivity

This is a full-time, permanent position. The main objective in this position is to ensure premium product quality in our manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Your mission

As a Quality Engineer your responsibilities involve fostering a quality-focused mindset and leveraging manufacturing operations experience to ensure our products meet premium quality standards, in alignment with quality systems management and the development roadmap for supply chain stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop quality perspective with continues improvement activity in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in quality related tasks.
  • Create current IT infrastructure to respond to quality assurance operations.
  • Develop and coordinate supply chain and internal claim processes.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who has good analytical and problem-solving skills with passion for development. You are a strong team player with proven quality and manufacturing operations skills, dedicated to open communication and collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders. As stakeholders are both local and global, having fluent English and Finnish skills is essential. From educational background we are looking for someone with at least bachelor’s level technical education and experience in similar positions. We appreciate skills of today’s digitalization requirements with IT-infrastructure and system integrations.
