Quality Technician

SECO Niagara Cutter is one of the world’s largest providers of comprehensive metal cutting solutions for milling, stationary tools, hole-making and tooling systems. SECO Niagara Cutter is part of the business area Sandvik Machining Solutions within the 150-year-old global industrial group Sandvik.

Quality Technician (1st Shift – 6a to 2p, M-F)

o Normally Monday thru Friday but may require other days as needed

o Normally First(1st) Shift but may require additional hours or other shifts as needed

Job Description

  • Supports 5S, Lean, and Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Audits processes to ensure operators and inspectors are working to establish standards and instructions
  • Assists with the evaluations of internal and external claims
  • Creates and updates procedures, workflows, and instructions as needed
  • Assists with process and product studies as directed
  • Assists with coordination and calibrations of measurement equipment
  • Assists with investigations using root cause analysis tools
  • Acts as a Seco leader in the following capacities:
