Technical Training Coordinator & Process Optimization Auditor - P2

We are looking for a Technical Training Coordinator (Master Trainer) and Process Optimization Auditor to join the Sandvik Rock Processing Africa team based in South Africa.
Purpose of the role:
The role will report into the report into the Business Line Manager – Aftermarket for SRP Africa and will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality learning solutions, foremost at a local level, that enhance the knowledge, safety and efficiency of the SRP offering for internal service technicians, and customers’ maintenance and operator personnel in Africa. The responsibilities include adapting learning material to suit local markets and as the Master Trainer to conduct learning sessions whilst ensuring compliance with local safety regulations and fostering a culture of continuous learning, contributing to the overall success of our organization through ensuring a pool of trained service technicians across the sales area that can facilitate certified training. In the future, training centre management may also be required.
In addition, the role will be the lead process optimization auditor. The responsibilities include auditing of all the plants with a Reliability and Protection package or with a process warranty still active. Audits may also be extended to any other customers on an ad hoc request. The audits will be conducting as per the Sandvik standards on the customer sites, whilst ensuring compliance with local safety regulations and fostering a culture of continuous learning, contributing to the overall success of our customers and Sandvik SRP through ensuring a high technical report on the crushing and screening process. Through these audits customer training needs may also be identified.
Key Responsibilities:
MASTER TRAINER AND TRAINING COORDINATOR
Learning program review and adaptation to local needs and standards:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure accuracy and relevance of the technical learning content produced by the Global Technical Learning & Development Team (L&D)
Identify local learning needs and tailor learning solutions in close collaboration with the Global Technical L&D Team to suit local needs and/or standards with a focus on safety, equipment operation, and technical and mechanical proficiency.
Learning delivery:
Facilitate engaging and effective learning sessions for the SRP divisions’ employees including new hires and experienced professionals, and respective division’s customers.
Utilize various learning methods, including lectures, workshops, practical mechanical, maintenance- and operational learning sessions, equipment simulation and real-life scenarios to maximize learning outcomes.
Utilizing the learning management system (SRP Stationary Crushing Solutions and Screening Solution’s technical learning portal) to add participation to onsite courses in the system.
Assess demonstrated skills and knowledge in onsite learning sessions.
In close collaboration with Global Technical L&D, local HR and Management follow-up on nominees for onsite learning sessions and give feedback to participants and follow-up with local HR/ Management on demonstrated skills and knowledge.
Ensure local pool of suitably certified trainers, both from a Sandvik knowledge perspective, but also certified under the required local legislations (eg, Mine Health & Safety Act in RSA)
Safety and compliance:
Ensure that all learning material and programs adhere to specific safety regulations, as stated in equipment manuals and/or local safety restrictions and guidelines, Sandvik safety standards, and best practices.
Emphasize safety protocols, personal protective wear and safety procedures throughout all learning sessions.
Assessment and Evaluation:
In close collaboration with Global Technical L&D, HR and local management, assess the progress and competence of trainees through practical evaluations and utilizing the learning portal for evaluation and feedback surveys.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance trainee performance and knowledge retention.
Resource management:
Manage learning facilities, equipment, and materials to ensure they are well-maintained and up to date.
Coordinate learning schedules and logistics effectively to meet the divisions’ needs.
Documentation and reporting:
In close collaboration with Global Technical L&D, HR and local management maintaining accurate records of learning activities, including attendance, assessments, and evaluations, utilizing the SRP Technical Learning portal as the designated place for accurate documentation.
Continuous learning:
Stay updated with the latest updates of the technical learning material, attend webinars and keep up to date on information from the Global Technical L&D Team, as well as industry best practices in the local market.
Maintain specific certifications specified by the SRP Stationary Crushing and Stationary Screening Global Technical L&D Team and attend learning program for continuous competence development.

PROCESS OPTIMIZATION AUDITOR
Auditing program implementation:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure accuracy and relevance of the technical auditing execution as per the Sandvik standard
Identify local customers’ needs and tailor the auditing solutions in close collaboration with the local Sales team and the Global Technical Auditing Team to suit local needs and/or standards with a focus on safety, equipment operation, and technical and mechanical proficiency.
Auditing delivery:
Facilitate engaging and effective auditing service for the SRP divisions’ existing customers including new customers. This includes the distributors in the region.
Utilize the various auditing methods to sample the plant material, including a pre-workshop, action plan, sampling numbering and timeslots to ensure we maximize the auditing outcomes.
Utilizing the Sandvik auditing management system, in conjunction with the Plant Designer system for the auditing.
Assess demonstrated skills and knowledge in onsite meeting with the customer representatives and identify possible learning sessions.
Issue a comprehensive Audit report after the Audit to the BLM crushing and the Global Crushing representative.
Ensure local pool of suitably certified auditors, both from a Sandvik knowledge perspective, but also certified under the required Sandvik standards
Safety and compliance:
Ensure that all audits adhere to specific safety regulations, as stated in equipment manuals and/or local safety restrictions and guidelines, Sandvik safety standards, and best practices.
Emphasize safety protocols, personal protective wear and safety procedures throughout all learning sessions.
Assessment and Evaluation:
In close collaboration with Global Technical team and local management, assess the methodology of the audit process and look for solutions to enhance the audit process
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance the auditing performance and knowledge retention of the client site.
Resource management:
Manage auditing reports, equipment, and materials to ensure they are well-maintained and up to date.
Coordinate auditing schedules and logistics effectively to meet the divisions’ needs.
Documentation and reporting:
In close collaboration with Global Technical and local management maintaining accurate records of Auditing reports, including new proposals to the customer, register on the CRM system.
Continuous learning:
Stay updated with the latest updates of the technical auditing methodology, attend webinars and keep up to date on information from the Global Technical Team, as well as industry best practices in the local market.
Maintain specific certifications specified by the SRP Stationary Crushing and Stationary Screening Global Technical Team and attend learning program for continuous competence development.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven relevant work-experience in the crushing and screening industry, and/or relevant trade certification. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, mechanical, technical, mining) is an advantage, but relevant proven competence in the field of crushing and screening will be mandatory
Extensive hands-on experience in crushing and screening processes and equipment with a mandatory minimum 5 years technical experience working with Sandvik crushing and screening equipment.
Proficiency in English (read & written)
This position will be required to travel to different SRP locations or division’s sites, as well as customer sites.
Flexibility in work hours to accommodate various shifts and schedules.
Valid drivers license
