Marketing Professional, as part of South Europe, Middle East & CIS Sales Area (SEMEC) role reporting to the Vice President South Europe, Middle East & CIS Sales Area located in Bucharest, Romania with the mission of proactive managing the marketing activities in accordance with the Sandvik business model.
Your responsibilities
As the Marketing professional, you will help oversee the development and execution of Divisional and Sales area marketing strategies, develop business and communication strategies for different channels, direct and distributors.
Position Overview: As a sales support Marketing Professional, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing and sales teams with strategic initiatives across various business channels. You will contribute to the development and execution of divisions marketing strategies, collaborate with internal and external teams, and drive impactful communication initiatives for sales areas and distribution channels. Your role will also involve overseeing digital marketing activities, event management, social media content creation, and ensuring alignment with global and divisional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation, development, and execution of divisional and sales area marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Execute tailored business and communication strategies for different channels, including direct sales teams and distributors.
Work closely with internal sales teams to ensure alignment of messaging and branding with division’s campaign and marketing initiatives.
Liaise with divisions marketing team and territory sales managers, as well as distribution channels/representatives to ensure compliance with marketing initiatives and policies according to Sandvik policies.
Execute communication plans for Sales Area and Territory announcements, including event briefings, press releases, and post-event updates for distribution channels.
Support internal communications to ensure consistency in messaging across the SEMEC Sales area and its territories.
Assist in executing PR activities such as drafting press releases, coordinating event announcements, and supporting post-event communications within SEMEC sales area.

Work with Salesforce to ensure that B2B activities are being tracked, campaigns emails and related data is properly established and managed to measure the effectiveness of it and market penetration
Analyse market trends from the marketing standpoint and propose corresponding communication campaigns to increase our market share and penetration.
Oversee and manage the corporate social media content plan, ensuring alignment with overall marketing, PR, and strategic objectives.
Assist with digital marketing activities, including Sales data analysis and reporting to track the performance of ongoing campaigns.
Manage dashboards to monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives based on sales area targets.
Support and execute internal sales & marketing campaigns, customer events and customer visits to company facilities. Provide support in the coordination, scheduling, and management of both global and local events, including corporate gatherings (e.g., congresses, roundtables, fairs), both online and in-person.
Assist in pre-event planning, logistics, and post-event follow-up to ensure the success of company-sponsored events.
Work closely with sales area third party partners, vendors, and translation agencies to ensure seamless execution of events and campaigns.
Oversee purchase requisitions and budget management for event-related expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
Your profile
The role reports to the Sales Area Vice President Southern Europe, Middle East and CIS and locations are flexible
It’s important that you have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience performing complex activities in a high level of autonomy and that you hold a University degree.
To be successful in this role, you will be service minded, possess strong communication skills and could work independently as well as in a team.
English will be a natural working language, Russian mandatory, and French is competitive advantage
