Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and purchasing team to ensure efficient and optimized use in terms of production costs and resources.
  • Manage the supply chain, observing points for improvement and bottlenecks in order to minimize the risks of disruptions in the factory's supply.
  • Management of slow moving and obsolete stock levels in distribution and production centers, ensuring an adequate level of inventory that meets customer service levels targets of 95%.
  • Management of sales evolution and order entry, monitoring with the sales team, understanding the needs of each country, in order to develop the production and volume strategy in the short, medium and long term at the factory.
  • Management and responsibility for quality and inventory accuracy in production stocks, including receipt, entry and exit of goods from stocks.
  • Establish direct and periodic contact with main customers in order to understand demand fluctuations and adequacy of stock level and production volume.
  • Management of price developments with suppliers in order to ensure adequate cost developments at the factory, including raw materials and production inputs. Search for alternative suppliers in relation to existing suppliers in order to maintain cost competitiveness.
  • Management and/or support for the development of internal projects, new products and relocation of products between factories in line with the company's global strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with the volume of the production plan, monitoring volume delivery in mini factories, offering support to other managers and seeking alternatives and opportunities for improvement aiming to deliver according to plan.
  • Management of performance indicators related to the purchasing and planning area, in order to act quickly on external (suppliers) or internal (team) deviations, in order to avoid harm to the company's operations.
  • Management and development of people through performance indicators and climate surveys to ensure diversity and growth among team members.
  • Manage the Warehouse and packaging departments.
  • Comply with Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection (EHS) standards and procedures defined by law and formalized by Sandvik locally and globally, seeking to mitigate the risks of accidents and incidents as well as ensuring the integrity of the material, human and environmental assets under -responsibility of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in production planning;
  • Knowledge of stock control and structure;
  • Knowledge of ERP management system;
  • Advanced English;
  • Advanced Excel;
  • Solid knowledge of the Office Package;
  • Knowledge of tools for management and control of the MRP and MRP II Planning area;
  • Knowledge of Financial Indicators / KPIs;
  • Knowledge of the Purchasing area routine;
  • Complete higher education in Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Foreign Trade or related areas.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of management system tools (Quality, Environment, Safety);
  • Knowledge of quality tools: Lean Manufacturing / PDCA / Kaizen / Kanban / Poka-Yoke;
  • Knowledge of the SAP System;
  • Spanish intermediary;
  • Knowledge in Project Management and Agile Methodology;
  • Postgraduate degree in logistics;
  • Postgraduate degree in industrial management;
  • Postgraduate or MBA in Direct / Indirect Purchasing.

Location: Brazil - Interlagos, São Paulo.
