Role Overview:

We are seeking a BI and Data Solutions Developer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our business intelligence (BI) and data solutions, with a particular focus on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This role plays a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making across the organization, and driving the adoption of advanced analytics tools and practices.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with business units (BUs) and stakeholders to identify data requirements, reporting needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Integrate and manage data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing BI and data solutions to identify areas for improvement, modernization, or automation.
  • Implement emerging technologies, such as AI/ML, natural language querying, and predictive analytics, to enhance the functionality of BI tools and reporting solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for leveraging Power BI and Microsoft Fabric capabilities effectively.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to promote self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making within the organization.
  • Address performance and scalability challenges by optimizing data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with identity and access management (IAM) policies and implement secure practices in BI development.
  • Ensure alignment of data strategies and solutions with organizational goals and architectural standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualization design.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms for data integration and management.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture principles, ETL processes, and database management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and narratives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Salesforce data sources and understanding of sales processes in general is a plus
  • Passionate about staying updated with the latest BI tools, trends, and best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. Professional certifications in Power BI, Azure, or similar tools is an advantage.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or a related field. Proficiency in Power BI and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Azure services is essential. Experience in a multinational or cross-functional business environment is highly desirable.
