We are now recruiting for a Reconciliations Analyst Lead (Hybrid) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.

JOB PURPOSE

The Reconciliations Analyst Lead role is a permanent full-time role within the SMR IT organisation which aims to ensure the alignment of Supply Chain data (such as Stock, Pricing etc) and Accounting data across multiple systems. This is critical to ensuring the end-to-end supply chain and financial closings continues to function effectively by devising and orchestrating short-term remedies to immediate issues while analysing the root cause and recommending long-term resolution.

The Reconciliation Analyst Lead role is proactive in anticipating potential issues and raising concerns to line management. Coaches other Sandvik employees working in the area. Create an environment that supports continuous connectivity, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret the reconciliation dashboard to identify reconciliation gaps

  • Analyse with reconciliation team root causes for complex discrepancies

  • Triage the reconciliation discrepancies ensuring priority, and complexity is correct with an appropriate resolution timeframe agreed

  • Action appropriate escalation of issues with significant impact or complexity

  • Plan and co-ordinate the resolution of the daily reconciliation task backlog – collaborate with IT teams to increase effectiveness.

  • Engage the business network to achieve resolution at source of the issue

  • Action required financial or stock postings and adjustments wherever direct intervention is more appropriate

  • Define problem tickets where a root cause could be resolved to reduce long term instances

  • Seek to continuously improve the process.

  • Assist and direct supporting teams to investigate and resolve issues.

  • Provide a business centric view of our integrations and ensure are operating per the business needed which includes identifying challenges and opportunities.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience working in financial accounting with some experience in SAP.

  • Broader know-how in Warehouse, supply chain and order management areas.

  • Experience working in large organisations.

  • Experience in Business Analyst or IT Functional analyst role related to Finance

  • Knowledge of Sandvik organization and IT landscape is beneficial.

Education, Licenses & Certificates

  • Educated to Degree and / or Professional level

  • Certification (or higher) in financial Accounting

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Dockline, Mayor Street, IFSC, Dublin 1) however for internal Sandvik Candidates we are flexible regarding the job location.
