Solution Architect

About your job

In this position, you’re an essential part of a small team, developing and shaping the Cloud Platform capability. You lead the architectural work in the cloud platform and automation of landing zones, ensuring our solutions are valuable and relevant for Sandvik’s business areas, using common industry practices.

What you do:

Collaborate with stakeholders, identify challenges, and align solutions.
Hands on development of features and products.
Continuously evaluate and improve our solutions to enhance services delivered to business units.
Be an integral part of building the team by sharing knowledge and mentoring team members.

The location for this position is Stockholm, and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.

Your profile

You’re experienced and self-motivated, with a deep understanding of enterprise scale implementations in Azure, including their management and governance. You’re a practical person with a pragmatic mindset and as a team player, you easily build stable relationships across our global organization. You enjoy promoting cloud solutions and understanding our business needs. You thrive in an innovative environment, working hands-on and are eager to develop professionally and personally.

To succeed in this role, you also need:

Extensive experience in building cloud platforms based on reference architectures from vendors, such as Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
Software development (preferably using C#) and Infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform) experience, to automate provisioning of landing zones and other products.
Experience of working with cloud native technologies, preferably Azure and Azure technologies with modern DevSecOps practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of multiple domains within IT such as Security, Networking, Identities and IT service management.
Extensive knowledge in English, verbally and in writing.
