Do you want the opportunity to work on innovative integration solutions that influence our product architecture? Great! At Sandvik Machining Solutions we’re currently looking for a new colleague to join us.
Welcome to a dynamic and collaborative team with a growth-oriented culture operating in a hybrid setting – allowing for flexibility in how we work together. Here, your contributions are valued and respected!
About your job
In this position, your focus is on designing and implement standard and custom integrations, enhancing our product integration capabilities, and supporting other developers to connect to CRIBWISE. You belong to our Division Tool Flow Solutions and the Cloud Tech team. We currently manage products like CRIBWISE, TM 4.0 and TDM Web Catalogue.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement integrations with third party platforms.
- Enhance the integration framework, particularly around RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and optimize integration performance.
The location is either at our modern site at Gasverket in Stockholm, Sweden or in Tübingen, Germany. We offer you a hybrid work solution.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a proven background in integration development, particularly with RESTful API design and event-driven systems. You have a strong understanding of cloud-based solutions and architectures as we’re using Microsoft Azure for hosting our integration solutions. Familiarity with tools and platforms for integration development and management, such as C# and the .NET 6 or above eco-system is necessary. You also need experience with message brokers, for example Azure Service Bus, and web-hooks. You’re comfortable working with storage solutions like Azure Cosmos dB and Azure SQL databases. It’s beneficial to have experience with the modular monolith architecture paradigm. We believe that your knowledge is backed by a university degree within IT. Acting in a truly global environment calls for excellent English skills, verbally and in writing.
Your strong and natural communication skills enable you to easily interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Being a true team player, you’re an excellent collaborator who works effectively within a team and across departments. With your problem-solving mindset, you can tackle complex integration scenarios creatively.
