HR manager - Rock Tools PU Sweden

Come join us on the exciting growth journey of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, and division Rock Tools. We’re looking for a new HR Manager to drive the HR agenda connected to our business needs and production units in Sandviken and Västberga. To be a good fit, you’re a true business driven person with an agile approach, who inspires development and performance, and celebrates our most valuable asset – our people!

Within Rock Tools, we deliver advanced products and solutions for the mining and construction industries, and we serve customers across all continents. Keeping up with our visions, culture and values, our ambition is to drive important shifts and advance the world through engineering, and we aim for nothing but excellence in all our operations.

About the job

In this position, you set the structure and ensure execution of a world-class HR delivery. You coach and support us in how to develop an agile, efficient and sustainable organization where people can grow and reach their full potential. Your tasks are both strategic and operational as you work with everything from leadership, learning, performance and salary management to DE&I and everyday HR topics that arise in our production environment. Together with our production managers you co-create and facilitate a smart competency strategy for today and tomorrow. Another important part of your job is to establish great relations and an open dialogue with our union representatives.

You and your team of HR generalists are always ready to share your knowledge, and you constantly search for improvements, synergies and ways to enhance our yearly HR cycles – both from a people and a production point of view. By setting clear objectives and driving change initiatives, you make sure that we follow through on our people strategy and included activities. With your strong communications skills you take lead in different change projects within the production units.

This is a role with broad networks and many exciting encounters, and you form strong collaborations with our managers, employees and your colleagues in the global Rock Tools HR team as well as the Sandvik HR community. You report to Head of Production Units Sweden and are a valued member of our PU Sweden management team.

About you

You have a relevant degree and experience of working within HR and as a manager. A background of working in an industrial environment is very beneficial, as this means that you understand a dynamic business setting and the importance of alignment with our Swedish labor laws. You’re used to working as part of a management team and creating high performing teams with psychological safety as a framework. You have a big interest in initiating change, developing leadership, setting structured ways of working and creating a can-do culture with high commitment. As we’re a global player with local presence, you need to be fluent in both English and Swedish.

We believe that you’re a humble listener, a committed doer and someone who easily builds relations, sets a culture of trust and always leaves a positive impact. You deliver results, encourage improvements, and are confident in leading business and people in change. Acting as a role model in relation to people management is in your DNA, and you bring an inclusive perspective where differences are both considered and valued. All in all, you inspire us to be an employer of choice!
