Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage month-end reporting, including accrual accounting and prepayment adjustments.
Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Process and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including IFRS 16 lease accounting.
Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the General Accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations.
Provide technical accounting advice to support various business divisions.
Handle audit and tax-related queries, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Act as the Local Internal Control Lead ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
Handle e-invoicing submission and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives as required.

Key Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and general accounting principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and meet key deliverables.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
