Executive - General Accounts
Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
We are searching for a General Accounts Executive to join our team in SMRTIPL, Dapodi Pune, Maharashtra.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, including fixed asset management, statutory audits, cost audits, monthly closing activities, budgeting and forecasting, and other financial tasks. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records and providing valuable support to the payroll and employee expenses functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fixed Asset Handling:
- Manage the addition, deletion, revaluation, and impairment of fixed assets.
- Provide tax support related to fixed assets.
2. Statutory Audit Working:
- Prepare various schedules for statutory audits.
- Assist in cash flow analysis and actuarial work review.
3. Cost Audit Working:
- Conduct cost audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with cost audit regulations and standards.
4. Monthly Closing:
- Perform routine activities related to monthly financial closing.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review bank reconciliations.
- Conduct intercompany matching reviews.
- Review internal controls.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Participate in routine budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
6. Other Functions:
- Handle employee expenses and provide support to the payroll department.
- Assist in other financial tasks as required.
Your profile
Education / Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of work experience with Strong knowledge of fixed asset management, statutory audits, cost audits, and financial closing activities. Should be proficient in budgeting and forecasting & familiar in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
