Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety), health, and wellness prevention and promotion activities encouraged by the company and the client.
Immediately report any incident, accident, unsafe act, or unsafe condition that is detected, and collaborate in the investigation and timely reporting of the event for dissemination.
Comply with life-saving rules, policies, procedures, regulations, and objectives of the EHS management system.
Responsible for correcting any unsafe conditions or acts identified in the workplace and addressing health and wellness aspects as instructed by the applicable health department.
Inform the Area Manager or EHS about any situation, change, or variation in activities that could generate a danger, risk, or environmental aspect that may affect the integrity of individuals, the environment, or lead to legal non-compliance.
Recognize positive behaviors in EHS, health, and wellness in colleagues, and provide constructive feedback when unsafe acts or behaviors are identified.
Requisitos:
University degree in Risk Prevention Engineering, Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with specialization.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar EHS positions in Mining and/or Machinery.
Intermediate English (desirable).
Availability to travel to various locations across the country.
Class B Driver’s License (mandatory).
Sernageomin Certification for Mining.
