The role
This role is a part of our team focused on development of products within the Division of Mining and Rock solutions – Mechanical Cutting, and as System Support Engineer with mechanical and electrical background you will participate in all steps of the development cycle - from idea to launched products. This role will be developing products for mining and civil industry. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, your attention to detail will ensure high-quality, industry-leading products.
Areas of responsibility
- Responsible for the engineering support for new, in-service and overhaul of mechanical cutting and RTV equipment
- Preparation of 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacture, assembly, and manuals
- Development of electrical concepts, circuit diagrams and terminal plans for up to 1000V equipment
- Supports the product safety, product management, production units and sales departments in technical matters
- Maintaining the machine BOM and Product Data Management (Teamcenter)
- Preparation of technical documentation and design criteria based on statutory and industry standards
- Perform engineering calculations as needed as per the project deliverables
- Connecting link with regulator and verifier according of the relevant legislation and specific regulations with respect to the RTV product in Australia (NSW and Qld).
- Adhere to all policies & procedures especially the EHS policies
Your profile

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, will enable you to effectively interact
with stakeholders at all levels. Your exceptional organization and self-motivation will allow you to manage your workload independently.
