Job Purpose:

As an Application Engineer for SigmaTEK (SigmaNEST), you will be responsible for:

Technical Support: you will effectively meet CAD/CAM technical support needs and communicate solutions to end-users via telephone, e-mail, and the internet.

Training: you will provide training courses for our customers: onsite and over the internet.

Applications Engineering: you will get to travel to customer manufacturing facilities to install our CAD/CAM software and run test programs on their machines to prove out the software capabilities.

Demonstrations: you will provide pre-sales technical support demonstration and competitive analysis (benchmarking).

Location: Delhi (North Region)

Key responsibility:

· Deliver demonstrations, both onsite and online, and attend our marketing activities such as tradeshows, webinars, and other promotional activities.

· Provide technical sales support, to help our sales team configure the proper solution for our prospects.

· Create and localize contents, like videos, presentations, and sample files, to show how our software can improve different manufacturing workflows.

· Develop and provide training to our customers and resellers, via web, classroom, or on customer/partner site.

· Provide customer support, and report bugs and improvement requests to the software department.

· Develop positive working relationships with all the stakeholders (customers and colleagues).

· Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements.

· Develop process improvements to optimize the technical processes.

· Train resellers and partners on the most recent version of the software

Qualification:

· First Class or above grade in bachelor’s degree / graduation in Mechanical Engineering form a recognized University/College OR a CAD/CAM Certification

· 5+ years of experience in Application or Customer Service or in our domain (CAD/CAM)

· 50% or more may be required, generally short travels (less than a week)

· Deep technical knowledge of manufacturing

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.

· Listening and ability to understand the stakeholder’s needs and issues.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Foster relationships with our customers through effective interaction

· Comfortable speaking in front of people and in web conferences

· Learning abilities, and adaptivity to a fast environment

· Ability to spread knowledge within the team.

· Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.

· Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

· Strong problem-solving skills.
