The role

This role is to support our sales organisation by providing technical and sales support to customers and the sales team to improve knowledge and productivity.

Areas of responsibility

  • Providing a professional understanding of Machining related to Cutting Tool Applications.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
  • Recommend products and services that fit well with the customer’s business needs.
  • Maintain and / or develop relationships to secure customer commitment.
  • Maintain existing market shares and hunt for new opportunities.
  • Assisting Account Managers / Distributors with problem solving and technical advice at end customers.
  • Supporting MTM/MTA in developing tooling proposals for new machines.
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers.
  • Supporting new product release, internal/external training and events.
  • Achieve business outcomes according to expectation for assigned customer portfolio.

Your profile

You will ideally have Engineering/Tool making trade certificate or equivalent as well a good understanding of the cutting tooling industry and machining products. You will have a strong safety focus and highly developed interpersonal skills. You will be flexible and self-motivated and able to work unsupervised or as part of a small team. You will be passionate about achieving goals and have excellent communication skills.
