We are now recruiting for a Change Management & Training Lead- for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.

Sandvik is a large Swedish multinational high-tech engineering group that offers products and solutions for mining, rock excavation, rock processing and metal cutting. Within Business Area Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR), we have embarked on a journey to transform our business that will enable us to achieve performance excellence. The work is driven by Divisional strategies, business outcomes, customer centric approach and value offerings. We have started to implement a continuous improvement operating model which will enable us to identify opportunities for process improvement and will help to realize the goals that are set to achieve operational excellence.

Through our “Seamless Flow” Program, we are driving implementation and business enablement of SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, MDG and connected systems for Divisions operating through our Distribution Centre and Sales Units. The change management and training lead is a key position within continuous improvement and the digital initiatives. The role will enable the successful adoption of digital transformation initiatives through a focus on people, including driving engagement and readiness for changes to business processes, technology, job roles and organisation structures.

The role is responsible for all change management and training related activities for the implementation from impact assessment, stakeholder engagement and communications through to end user training and business adoption. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimizes resistance to change as well as being actively engaged in the development and delivery of the training program to the impacted stakeholders. The role will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. The role will negotiate with the management levels in the organisation to ensure that the change is appropriately understood and supported by all people managers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a change management approach and plan for programs, projects and improvements covering a broad range of deliverables such as change impact analysis, business readiness, organisational change, training, organisational design, communication and a change network.
  • Develop a change strategy and plan to support the adoption of the technology changes, business transformation and improvements while minimising resistance.
  • Lead and manage business readiness activities through all programme or project phases. Cultivate engagement and acceptance among the business to maximise adoption and benefits.
  • Identify risks and develop risk mitigation tactics.
  • Apply a structured methodology to assess business change impact, identify stakeholders and roles, determine training needs and evaluate change readiness.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop the rationale for change, lead the development of communication material and drive the appropriate messaging and communication of the technology platform across the business.
  • Oversee learning programs that may include e-learning, instructor led training, simulations, standard operating procedures, job-aids, videos, process walkthrough workshops and other channels.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of training to end users while working alongside process teams and learning partners.
  • Engage with and provide guidance of training standards to the process teams in the development of training content.
  • Plan and develop training content that embeds the change impacts.
  • Monitor the training program and content to ensure that they are effective and up to date.
  • Create an environment that supports continuous connectivity, collaboration and learning.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role leading complex change management and/or training initiatives in a large scale transformation or multinational organisation preferred
  • Experience identifying change impact in organisations including the development of new organisational designs preferred
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-level training programs for adoption of new technology platforms or improvements
  • Experience working with instructional design frameworks, such as SAM or LLAMA, and authoring tools for training content development. (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia) preferred
  • Experience working with digital adoption platforms (e.g. SAP EnableNow, WalkMe) desirable
  • Knowledge of supply chain functions, processes and ERP platforms (e.g. SAP) desirable
  • Proficient in manipulating data to enable the management of business change and continuous improvement (e.g. MS PowerBI) desirable

EDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATES

  • Educated to degree level
  • Certification in change management preferred (e.g. PROSCI, APMG)
  • Certification in project management desirable (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Certification in training or instructional design desirable (e.g. CPLP, CELP, COLF)
