Leading manufacturer of precision tools for metal machining is looking for.

AREA SALES MANAGER

Purpose:

The position of Area Sales Manager is appointed by and reports directly to the Managing Director of the Walter Sales Company.

The position of Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

This position is responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the team meets its goals.

The Area Sales Manager will also be responsible for analyzing sales data, forecasting, and reporting to local and/or global management.

Main Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Conduct monthly sales result with the team.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.

Recruit, train, and develop new sales team members.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Set sales targets and KPIs for the team.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

Provide optimal solutions to our customers using value-added selling techniques that present a full range of products and services that demonstrate Engineering Kompetenz.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Ensure to keep update the CRM platform.

Sales Operations:

Oversee the full sales process from lead generation to cash collection.

Ensure the sales team follows established processes and best practices.

Collaborate with all Walter departments to support sales efforts.

Reporting and Analysis:

Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Prepare regular sales reports for management team.

Forecast sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Education and Experience:

Undergraduate degree in engineering 5-8 years’ experience in the cutting tool industry dealing with sales.

Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.

Knowledge of cutting tool applications is desired.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Package.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Shall carry himself (herself) in a professional way with an exemplary attitude toward working companions, customers, and daily activities.
