Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, tunnelling, quarrying and breaking and demolition.
The Logistics Services team of the Parts & Services organization is looking for an ambitious candidate to fill the position of Business Controller / Business Analyst.
We are now recruiting for a Business Controller/ Business Analyst (Hybrid) - for a permanent role.
JOB PURPOSE
In this position, you are responsible for the analysis, interpretation, and communication of business performance. You will deliver results by leveraging data analysis to engage stakeholders, drive commitment, and influence decision-making.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will ensure the business is supported with on-time reporting and measurement of the operations with analysis, advice and tools to optimise performance.
As the Business Controller, some of your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Management of the monthly business performance reporting and review process
- Deliver clear and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management as requested.
- Develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts, and conduct analyses to support decision-making
- Collaborate with relevant functions and process owners to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Drive process improvements and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead the development and implementation of analytical and reporting tools to create centralised reporting solutions for the logistics function
- Other adhoc responsibilities as requested by management
International travel will be required for this role (when permitted)
Experience
- Strong numerical mindset with an understanding of Logistics data
- 5+ years of relevant role experience
- Strong attention to details
- Advanced reporting and analysis capabilities, preferably with Power BI
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
Education, Licenses & Certificates
- A degree in Finance/Economics/ Managerial Accounting / Supply Chain Management
