About the Role

As a EHSQ Coordinator, you will be based at our Kewdale branch, reporting to the EHSQ Manager (APAC). The EHSQ Coordinator is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the management of health, safety, environment, and training systems, with a focus on continuous improvement. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day implementation of health and safety protocols at the Kewdale Facility.

Key responsibilities include developing and promoting safety initiatives, cultivating a positive and consistent WHS culture across the site, and working to reduce injury frequency. The coordinator will offer advice and assistance to team leaders, managers, and employees on all WHS-related matters, promptly reporting hazards as they arise. Additionally, the role involves identifying corrective and preventive actions, coordinating action and review plans, and ensuring the EHSQ system remains compliant with ISO standards.

The EHSQ Coordinator also plays a key role in ensuring that products are manufactured to meet quality standards and customer specifications, empowering the team to produce products right the first time

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Cert IV in WHSQ; and or 3 years plus experience in manufacturing/mining/construction industry
  • Strong safety, quality and training background with: experience in a similar position and sound knowledge of WHS requirements, legislation and compliance.
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems, Lean manufacturing and quality accredited organisations and environmental management systems. (e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO14001)
  • Experience with MS Office suite and comfortable developing and delivering presentations
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders
