Technical Sales Engineer - Cutting Tools in Southeastern Florida

Seco Tools is seeking a results-driven and bilingual (English & Spanish) Regional/Territory Technical Sales Professional for Southeastern Florida to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in technical sales, with expertise in the medical and aerospace industries. As a Regional/Territory Sales Professional, you will represent Seco Tools and its comprehensive metal cutting solutions to a diverse clientele across various sectors, including automotive, power generation, oil & gas, mold & die, construction, agriculture, and firearms.

Territory Sales Professional / Technical Sales Engineer Role Requirements

This is a regional territory sales role requiring 5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role, with proven experience in the manufacturing or distributor focused sales environment working independently from a home or virtual office environment. This role requires strong fluency in Spanish and proven territory sales skills with experience and strong technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment where product application solutions are required in a distributor and end user environment, especially in medical, aerospace, and firearms (optional but preferred).

Strong skills in qualifying, demonstrating and influencing customers are critical for success. Travel (50-60%) in region along with travel to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico is required to manage the territory requirements and engage, qualify, develop, support, and secure new business for Seco Tools’ cutting tool solutions with new and existing end user customers and through distributor channel partners. This Territory Sales role requires strong focus on the following:

  • 60% - End User Account Management & New Business Development– The role requires developing new end user customers and managing and mining existing customer accounts to assure customer retention and development of new business opportunities for increased product sales.
  • 25% - Distributor Channel Partner Account Management & New Business Development - The role requires optimizing sales with distribution channel partners through joint calls, end user leads, and technical product support.
  • 15% - Administration – Territory planning, sales administrative activities and reporting.

Metal cutting knowledge and experience is required.
